I've spent thousands of dollars on software and "magic" programs to make it in the writing world. For every aspiring it author, it seems like there are ten people waiting to scam them. Which is why I don't tell you how to market your book. But if you want to know about inexpensive or free tools, and learn how to use them, this is the place for you.

I have decades of technical experience, was a corporate trainer for over 10 years, and I have worked in the publishing industry, doing typography, layout and design.

If you want your book to look good, I can help you. I can show you software that is free or inexpensive, and I can teach you how to use it . And I will not charge you a dime for those tutorials. Those will always be free.

But if you want additional learning material, step-by-step documents, and even one-on-one help, those are available also. But I have to charge for them.

I have a background in technology, and I've also spend fourteen years as a corporate trainer and LMS and SharePoint administrator. I know my away around a computer. I've worked at newspapers, back before everything went digital, so I know typography and layout, and I studied art in college. I have an eclectic background, which is not uncommon for authors. But what it means, with apologies to Liam Neeson, is that I have a particular set of skills, that make uniquely qualified to teach and create content on how to use software and how to design covers and book interiors.
